Girvan Youth Trust Social Enterprises
Girvan Youth Trust have two social enterprises which we operate in order to allow us to generate a small amount of unrestricted income for the charity.
Charity Shop
Girvan Youth Trust have their own Charity Shop, run by a team of volunteers, is open six days a week. It is also used as a training base for Work Experience & Placements and School Based Community Volunteer Groups.
Aff the Rails Station Kiosk
Aff the Rails is Girvan Youth Trust's newest social enterprise based in Girvan Railway Station opened April 2026.
Working with pupils from Girvan Academy S3 Art Dept we gave the Art Deco kiosk a modern twist with a focus on social and environment impact.
Currently open 3 mornings per week our barista's serve fresh coffee and delicious homemade cakes.
Aff the Rails gives our adult and young volunteers the opportunity to build their skills in customer service, food hygiene and cash handling in a supported environment.
